Writer/Producer/Production Designer

Christina AdamsCHRISTINA ADAMS has written and produced many projects for television and film, including the ABC movie, Badge of Betrayal, starring Harry Hamlin and the NBC movie, Murder or Memory, starring Emmy-winner, Leigh Taylor Young. She has written numerous episodes for such diverse series as Disney’s Duck Tales, Jim Henson’s Fragglerock and Hanna Barbera’s Popeye.

For Disney, Christina wrote and developed the East Indian epic, The Ramayana, as an animated feature. She has also produced and developed a number of projects for Disney, Tri-Star, Universal, Hearst Entertainment, ABC and NBC and others.  She recently produced and co-wrote the feature film, Lost Lake, released on DVD (summer 2005) by Warner Brothers Home Video, after a limited theatrical release.

In addition to her work as a writer and producer, Christina is a talented artist, production designer and singer-songwriter who has performed throughout India and Europe.  She has recorded several world music albums including the cult classic, Vrindaban, and is a featured performer on the soundtrack of Lost Lake.

In September 2006, Christina produced the world premiere of Primal Twang: The Legacy of the Guitar, a theatrical journey through the colorful and surprisingly controversial 3500-year history of the guitar, featuring electrifying live performances by world music legend, Dan Crary and an all-star ensemble of guitar greats, including Grammy-winners, Eric Johnson, Albert Lee, Andrew York, Mason Williams and Doc Watson. The program debuted to enthusiastic sold-out audiences at San Diego’s Birch North Park Theatre.  In addition to producing, Christina also served as Production Designer. She also produced the film version of Primal Twang, created from the live performances and supplemented by interviews, a “making of” documentary and bonus tracks.

After completing postproduction on the film version of Primal Twang, Christina co-wrote, produced and designed the 2007 world premiere production of Love-In: A Musical Celebration, starring Broadway legend, Ben Vereen.As with Primal Twang, the performances were filmed by Adams Entertainment for commercial release.

Love-In is the second in a series of theatrical concert documentaries to be produced by Adams Entertainment.  The next in the series, Country Roots, will dramatize the history of country music with legendary musical guests and will feature the innovative fusion of music, film and theatre introduced by Primal Twang and Love-In.  Besides producing live theatre and musical documentaries, Christina and Anthony Adams are developing a slate of feature films to be produced by Adams Entertainment, including My Brother - My Enemy, A Killing Season and Nuevo Sol.
